Here are a few pics of a modified open trailer for pulling a Nano around. This was done by Art (Yellow Bensen Days Nano). I love what he did for the main landing gear, I have asked for details so I can duplicate in my trailer.

I am about to get my very own Nano! I am very excited but am having trouble with finding an enclosed trailer with Jeff's dimensions of a 7x14x8.5 foot tall dimensions. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find one? The 7x14 is easy but the 8.5 foot tall part is the tricky part.
Is the tube holding the blades the same one used by the factory for shipping, or something you need to purchase separately?
Is this a 12’ or 14’ trailer?
Where can you get these Tire Straps? Couldn’t find then online for anything other than car tires.
I want an open trailer too, but am going for as small as possible. Jeff has provided overall measurements of the Nano, but a need 5 more specific measurements. (See attached chart.) Would someone have the time to provide these for me and the forum? Thanks!!
Just wrapped up my online Gyropedia course, it very educational for anyone interested before flight lessons.
Thanks- that is very useful, downloaded fine for me.
Here is a snipit with dimensions.
I tried the Download, nothing. Says Forbidden.
Attached is the flight manual and has dimensions in it. I went with a 7x14 enclosed trailer 8.5ft tall, I will let you know if it fits nicely in a week or so when I get my Nano.
Does anyone have a dimensioned plan view drawing of the Nano?
I want to start building a trailer ahead of delivery, so need width & length for landing gear, and overhang fore and aft. I will also ask FC, but maybe someone here has that data?
👍🏻 Im looking forward to it.
Once I have mine and put together I will give you some inside shots so you can decide if you want 8ft wide or longer etc.
Thanks for the pictures, nice setup. Enclosed for me. Trailering/Hanger.
I am deciding if I want to go with wood or metal for the channels. I can see me busting my toes on a metal channel. Wood I can rounds edges and remove angles easier. I am waiting to get my nano and get it inside my enclosed trailer before I start making things for fuel/tools etc.
Those wheel straps are a good idea- I see car transporters using that method, so apparently a good solution.
I plan to go for a simple open T trailer as I had for my trike. Channel up the spine for the nosewheel, short channels for mains on the T head. Covers for the Nano cabin, mast and prop (and tail surfaces?). Probably also a short V screen at the front, with mounts for 2x 20l fuel containers and oil/tool box. Tubes up either side of centre for rotor blades.
Guess I have to figure out how to attach multiple pics
